Death At A Funeral

On Saturday night, I went to see Death At A Funeral at the cinema and it certainly gave me plenty of laughs.
As the name suggests, the film is about a funeral and all I can say is that I hope I never have to go to a funeral with as many dramas as this one.
The film stars Matthew MacFayden (best known as Mr Darcy In Pride and Prejudice), as Daniel and he is set to deliver the eulogy at his father’s funeral.
This story has everything from family disagreements, elderly relatives, drugs, nudity and an unexpected mourner.
MacFayden plays the part of Daniel well and is supported by an excellent cast including Daisy Donovan (Martha), Rupert Graves (Robert) and Kris Marshall (Troy), just to name a few.
The motto of this story appears to be that secrets will always come out whether you want them to or not, whether you want them to remain secret forever or are simply waiting for the right time to announce your news to your nearest and dearest.
I also think that the film reminds the audience that a negative experience or event can bring about something positive.
It was great to see so many people at the cinema and having a laugh. As I told one of my colleagues, if you only see one film at the cinema a year, this one is worth considering.
