Environment
You must act now
Dr Warwick Raverty
I am not a resident of Tasmania, so I am not eligible to sign this petition. I do however urge all Tasmanians who have valued my input to the community debate about this mill (and the lack of due process that has brought it to the brink of approval) to ACT NOW. I can do little more to stop it being built in what I personally consider to be a totally inappropriate location. It is now up to each one of you. If you are at all concerned about cronyism and debauching of due process in your state, I urge you to act. For those of you who want a balance between sustainable development and jobs and a clean, green environment, do not believe those who say that this is ‘the last chance’ for a development of this type in Tasmania – it is not.
