PRINT out their names and tape them to your refrigerator ready for the next Legislative Council election and House of Assembly election – 5 ‘independents’ along with 2 Liberals; these individuals are travelling overseas, at great expense to the people of Tasmania, accompanied by a Gunns lobbyist, to be shown a Gunns’ version of pulp mills in operation.
No doubt every step of the tours will be stage-managed by Gunns – and this lot wouldn’t have the will, the brains, or the integrity to interview members of the public living near the mills, or make unannounced visits to the mills as Dr Raverty did.
