Dear David

I feel compelled to write after reading about your actions on threatened fungus species.

I have had some contact with you as Health Minister and you seemed genuinely concerned and you did some good things.

But your recent actions in relation to dam approval legislation, threatened species and intensive pig and chicken farming appall me.

What is wrong with you such that you act so unethically. Your religion appears to be short term economics. You and your government have such incredibly limited vision.

I fear for our island’s future under your stewardship.

I feel resigned to leaving Tasmania, now controlled by Lennon and Gunns.

Meanwhile, on my weekend trip to Coles Bay that I am about to set off on, I will have to resign myself to driving along littered roadsides, viewing clear cuts and trying to not be killed on our dangerous roads.

It is all so sad.

Regards
