Comment: Mill solution an election winner

In turn, local residents and mayors from Burnie to Wynyard have indicated how delighted they would be to have the pulp mill located in the north-west of Tasmania, bringing construction jobs, employment and residents to their rural region. More to the point politically, removing the pulp mill from the Tamar Valley would almost certainly deliver the electorate of Bass to the federal political party brave enough to help assist Gunns to relocate its proposed mill away from the area.
