By 11am on Wednesday the corporate colours of purple and yellow were well along the lane, heading for the most recently completed pieces.

Undercoat yellow, top coat purple, trim yellow.

A clear anti graffiti shield will go on last.

Anything painted on at night can be removed in the morning.

One of the crew, Max Nordstrom, from R and T.L.Tatnell said he got no pleasure from painting out the pieces. He said he was ‘absolutely devastated’.

He also said he wasn’t so worried about painting out the tags.

A Roman born passer by, having confirmed that it’s two ‘f’s and one ‘t’ in graffiti also thought the activity ‘isn’t good really, it’s illegal after all’.

However, he went on to say, pointing at the purple and yellow expanses rolling over individual pieces, — ‘this is worse’.
