The Weld Angel

Today (Thursday) in the Weld Valley and at Tahune Airwalk, a great solidarity action occurred to highlight continued logging in the Weld Valley.
At Tahune Airwalk an angelic and very moving protest was established, overwhelming support from the tourists was welcomed with information fliers.
At Eddy Rd gate, main access to the Weld Valley, was locked down with a forest defender halting access through the gate.
And for the first time in Tasmania, a forest defender was suspended from a bridge above the Weld river.
