One was out and about last night … the first time one must say in some three months … a bad bout of Greenus Fairyous Absintheus … Nasty Little Bastard affliction … had kept your correspondent dangerously bar-bound.

But, in the interests of her readership (thank you Cousin Wayne), there she was taking Calvados just last eve at the wondrous Boathouse … when she spied Bob … the Gently Bearded … Gordon.
And, his dinner companions were fascinating …
… A darker gentleman indecipherable to the in-Absinthe Hag.

… A Blond Gentleman, who apppeared to have Rayonier written all over his casuals.

… A Union Man; my eyes were too glazed to see whether it was Scott McLean or his mate …
