Fast-changing opinions

NOW is an appropriate time for all Tasmanians to ponder the new world we are facing, an entirely different environment; very alien to anything previously encountered by the human race during its brief but distructive time on this planet.

The speed in which world opinion is seen to be changing toward the unsustainable rape of the world’s resources including the most vital life sustaining elements the planet provides for all life, including man to exist.

The air we breathe, the once pure water that every living thing is absolutely reliant upon, the very basics of life itself are now being destroyed at an alarming rate to feed the appetite of monetary rich; these irresponsible predators are assuring that the planet will have little left to provide many of the beautiful things that previous generations witnessed and cherished; too many pieces of the world’s jig-saw have been destroyed such as our vital forests being torn apart and the whole ecology being shaped for man’s benefit alone never mind the habitat not being able to exist in this manmade and Chenobyl like environment, created simply to feed the gratification of a few that when analysed are simply enemies of their children and grandchildren, having no thought for what or who comes next, Think about it!

This blind greed has led to the distruction of not only our forests, but much of the existing wildlife that was reliant on the natural habitat now being “reshaped” by man for man leaving the last of the struggling animal life in serious trouble, even man himself is in a for a major wakeup now realising he has put himself in the way of extinction along with the pain and suffering that is being dealt out to all life species on earth, many of which are now fast losing life’s battle.

The attempt to explain this global slaughter away with the soothsayers like JOBS!JOBS! JOBS! or the sustainability line, previously all being part the staple diet while feeding the enormous appetite for dishonesty and deceit, today’s Purveyers of Destruction (PODS), are today armed with its own Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), designed to change the whole world environment with its deliberate fight against nature.

The hypocrisy of promting panic at the thought of a sly fox entering Tasmania and the damage it may cause to our fauna is a pitiful smoke screen when we already support an even more sly species costing millions of dollars a day already doing just that, half a million foxes could not emulate the sort of the destruction, poisoning of waterways and habitat along with other well out of hand practices being carried out by these perpertrators now operating at an unheralded rate, nothing has survived this “guiltless” industry until now,their direct link to Global Warming!!!

With the whole world opinion rapidly changing now focusing on all industrial vandalism deemed directly responsible for the now serious world climate change be ceased, global warming has set alarms off worldwide making certain that humanity will need to make many changes, but is it already too late? Pulping forests simply to produce material that in most cases is no more than throw away packaging, a good example of this can be shown in the garbage bin each week, is this really all we have achived for such an enormous price we are about to pay?

The much flaunted pulp mill with all its controversy may very easily become just another a blight on Tasmania’s decision making, being ranked alongside the many other recent faux-pas our fearful leaders have exposed this undeserving state to.
