I won’t, because I’m allowed my one chance to live a life, my one chance to fulfill a dream I created, I have a right too, as we all do; it may not make billions of dollars, but it’s mine to protect and it’s all I’ve got, and I will not let greedy, misinformed, hypocrites ruin what god gave me, to satisfy the dreams of John, Paul and their Lingo Rot. I don’t know what you people are fighting against or for, do you? Maybe it’s that extra naught!

Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone.

GOOD on the protestors, good on the campaigners, good on the conservationists, and good on anyone who stands up for a fair go for all Tasmanians: (An illegal onslaught).

Good on those who won’t allow or will expose intimidation. Good on those who will stick their neck out for the long term benefit of us all.

But who are you, you anti-environmentalists? Your passion against nature is astounding. Are you politically or vested interest, motivated? Or don’t you see the forest for the trees? Do you get a buzz out of a blue wren sitting on your knee, or is it your bank balance that gives you that thrill?

Have you looked at the world lately? Spoken to people from every level in the forestry industry? Been threatened with losing your water supply, being burnt out? Walked water catchments to see what’s going on? Have you seen the salt pans, the muddy ditches that used to be rivers?

Have you realistically looked at the world? It’s not unbreakable. In only two hundred years look what’s happened to Australia, two hundred years of greed, not thinking realistically about the future, wasting resources, all in the name of a secure future. For who? Where’s our bounty at the end of the rainbow now? Where’s all the back breaking pioneering ended up? Turned, not back into the land, that enriched us, but into greed stamped in concrete draining away any natural resources we have got.

Well I for one won’t let your attitudes take away the wedge tailed eagles flying above my front door, or the giant freshwater lobsters in the creek, at my back door, or the platypus, playing amongst the Blackwood leaves, or the healthy Tassie Devils who visit for a feed.

I won’t let you ruin my pure water supply or choke the cleanest air in the world with your chemical sprays and fires or kill any more of my pets with your 1080.
