Second Open Letter to Julian Green
Commissioner RPDC
Dear Mr Green,
I am still awaiting a reply to my letter (ref RPDC 100602) asking that the RPDC hear my evidence which is relevant to the directions of your Commission on the Gunns’ Pulp Mill IIS.
My expectation was that the RPDC would hear and consider all the evidence, following which they would make a decision which would then be formally announced. This does not appear to be the case and the articles in the Mercury (Saturday 2/12 ) and in the Examiner (Monday 4/12) do not constitute a formal announcement of the RPDC Directions decision.
What decision has been made with regard to the RPDC’s directions on the Gunns Draft IIS?
Has additional material been made available by Gunns?
How can I get a copy of the additional material if it is available?
Is a further submission on this additional material in order?
Since I must conclude that you have refused to hear my evidence relevent to the directions hearing and to announce the outcomes of that hearing, then I feel obliged to review my directions evidence and include the further evidence of the RPDC’s failure in this regard and make a press release so that all relevent information will appear in print and be available to all interested parties.
Could you please acknowledge reciept of this letter and answer the questions set out above.
