The Hobart Walk Against Warming

Saturday November 4th is the International Day of Action on Climate Change.
Join thousands of other Australians in a peaceful walk urging action on climate change now. The Hobart Walk Against Warming will be voicing the following demands:

Public transport – use it, improve it

Support for renewable energy, not nuclear

Keep the carbon in the forests

Ratify Kyoto now!

Meet at Franklin Square, Hobart at 12 noon on Saturday 4 Nov, and walk to Princes Park in Battery Point.

Bring family, friends, kids, bikes and placards for a fun, peaceful walk ending with speakers and entertainment.

Go to http://www.walkagainstwarming.org/ to pledge to walk, and send emails to 5 friends encouraging them to pledge too.
