TWO former Labor ministers stand to walk from the failed Tasmanian Compliance Corporation with more than $800,000 in builders’ accreditation fees. Premier Paul Lennon shut down the lucrative scheme, labelled a “cosy cash cow” for Labor mates John White and Glen Milliner, this week after a damning KPMG report. The deed the TCC signed agreeing to surrender builder accreditation to the Government was released yesterday and it appeared to confirm a “golden parachute”. It said the TCC was entitled to receive all “book debts and other moneys owing to it in connection with the business” until the surrender date next month.
