TWO former Labor politicians have been booted out of a company the Opposition and Greens had dubbed a “cosy cash cow” for “Labor mates”. Former Tasmanian health minister John White and former Queensland minister Glen Milliner will leave the Tasmanian Compliance Corporation at the end of next month. Premier Paul Lennon yesterday said a KPMG audit into the workings of the TCC had led the State Government to seize control of builder accreditation. The State Opposition and the Tasmanian Greens said dumped deputy premier Bryan Green should never return to the front bench for his role in the TCC scandal. They also called for the immediate public release of the KPMG audit, the first of four investigations into the building watchdog.
