LEGISLATIVE Councillor and former Glenorchy mayor Terry Martin is so fed up with the Lennon Government he is considering quitting Labor ranks. Mr Martin, who won a resounding 60 per cent of the primary vote in Elwick in May 2004 with a huge personal following, is contemplating switching to become an independent member of the Upper House. His move would reduce the number of Labor MLCs to four and boost independents to 11, adding to government difficulties in getting new legislation through parliament.
