Why is it so?
Why is it so, that we are placed in a position of fear for our own survival, having the threat of one of the largest polluting pulp mills built in our beautiful valley?
Why is it so, that this government supports such a deadly destructive mill using hundreds of thousands of our taxpayers’ dollars to promote it?
Why is it so, that this government is allowing our lands to be clear felled, trees destroyed, water catchments decimated, wildlife suffering through poisoning and loss of habitat?
Why is so, that a government would let 70 billion litres of water to be wasted daily?
Why is it so, that this government allows tree farming to soak up our water?
Why is it so, that this government employs personnel to try and sell a pulp mill to the majority of Tasmanians who are not in favour of this mill?
Why is it so, that this government is allowing good farm lands to be sold for tree farms?
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record on health?
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record on care for the aged?
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record public housing
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record on education?
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record on not being transparent?
Is it not so, that this government has a dismal record on replacing infrastructure?
Is it true, that this government has spent 15 million dollars on a football team?
Is it true, that this government has not been forthright prior to elections on Spirit 3?
Is it true, that this government has not been forthright on the Meander dam?
Well it is true, that many Tasmanians are fed up with the excuses, blatant untruths, and the lack of principals shown by this government.
Enough is enough.
