Background on New Matilda’s Human Rights Act Campaign
Australia is the only Western country without a Human Rights Act or equivalent. New Matilda has launched a campaign to change this. A draft Bill has been prepared and launches are occurring throughout Australia to raise awareness and stimulate debate on this important issue for our future. The draft Bill and campaign information can be found at www.newmatilda.com/humanrightsact.
