Free enterprise to free Corby

Tasmanians, Australians, anyone with a sense of fair play and justice, should join the growing push to boycott Bali, in fact anywhere in Indonesia.

The Schappelle Corby offers us the chance to follow our Government’s advice
not to rely on them for help.

They’ve folliowed this philosophy in health, education, everything. Well
let’s take it a step further and instead of asking Jelly John Howard or
Dithering Downer to help Corby, let’s privatise the protests.

1. Refuse to go to that country.

2. Refuse to fly Garuda Airlines.

3. Don’t buy goods which carry the tag “Made In Indonesia”.

The South African Boycott worked, lets have the Indonesian one now.

Economic rationalists everywhere will be applauding us. We will have brought their much-loved bottom line to bear ont his disgusting treatment of a young Australian citizen.

Once Mr Garuda sees his income shrinking, he will be on the phone to the Indonesian Government and told “no more basksheesh” until this is fixed.

I feel sorry for the people of Bali; they’ve suffered plenty, but this is a tough business we’re in when a person’s life is at stake. They’d be better off as a state of Australia anyway since it is this country that props up their economy. Why not use this as the inspiration to do what Timor did?

Schappelle Corby is innocent. The evidence is overwhelming. More and more we learn about the problems in our air cargo systems in Australia.

The head of the Federal Police looks like a frightened rabbit caught in the headlights everytime it is is mentioned. One federal cop who spoke out is dead. But that hasn’t stopped another one. Will he be like the bloke in prison in Victoria – stabbed in the back.

Injustice is rife in all our systems. But this incident is beyond the norm.

Boycott Bali, refuse to buy goods made in Indonesia and let free enterprise free Schappelle Corby.
