The Fringe at the Edge of the World is a new fringe festival, helmed by artists, coming to North Hobart in January of 2019!
Fringe at the Edge of the World will be a small, yet action packed new fringe festival for Tasmania. The goal of the festival is to provide locals with an opportunity to test a festival show without having to go to the mainland; and to give interstate performers a chance to experience the Tasmanian arts scene first hand.
The festival will be holding its inaugural launch party at The Republic on November 13th starting at 7:30pm. The party will feature performances from several of the festival’s artists, and a brief informative speech from festival director Gillian English. She will be announcing the festival’s artists, venues, and special events that will all be a part of making Fringe at the Edge of the World an exciting four days in January.
