The pork barrelling and fairy floss policies have started and it appears nothing has changed.
Labor Senator Penny Wong was quoted in the Mercury the other day as saying Labor would make it easier for Foreign Investors to buy land in Australia, and Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said that Liberal will raise the pension age to 70.
Well Tasmania is not for sale and nor will we allow the pension age to be raised. Now more than ever with the byelection looming in Braddon, it’s time for the Tasmanian people to take advantage of the opportunity of controlling the balance of power in the House of Representatives.
If Tasmanian people vote for a Tasmanian working for Tasmania, instead of the ideals of a Federal Political Party merely intent on retaining power, then with Denison Independent Andrew Wilkie, Tasmania would hold the balance of power in the Australian Government.
It’s time to stand up Tasmania and put your State first and take your place in the Australian Government.
