Comedian Bill Cosby has been convicted of drugging and molesting a woman, becoming the most high-profile subject of the #MeToo movement to be found guilty in court.
The 12-person jury in Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County Courthouse found Cosby, 80, guilty on three charges of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home in 2004. Cosby has been on trial since 2015, with a mistrial declared in June 2017 after jurors failed to reach a verdict. Several other Cosby accusers broke down upon hearing the verdict, while celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who represented 33 Cosby accusers, said “we are so happy that finally we can say women are believed” …
