… due to ‘extreme suicide risk’: lawyer comments
The National Justice Project, a not-for-profit human rights law firm, confirmed that it was acting for the family of a young girl who was the subject of a decision handed down in the Federal Court Today.
George Newhouse, principal solicitor at the NJP today made the following statement on behalf of the family:
‘This is an extremely sensitive matter which is set out in some detail in the Judge’s observations. Given the nature of what is disclosed in the decision, the family have asked that they have some privacy at this time.‘
