On my morning walk I was very surprised to find someone or something polluting the river from one of the creeks that run into it. The water coming from the creek is a dirty yellowish brown colour and is being moved by the river current into the bay. I phoned Glenorchy Council who after a few consultations passed me off to State growth. They then passed me on to Primary water and so on. 25 minutes later a report had been raised and I will probably be contacted the next business day. In the meantime someone is polluting the river and nobody seems to care.
Where is the Glenorchy council and the State Government…..??
