Indigenous rights campaigner Clinton Pryor has completed a year-long, 5580-kilometre walk from Perth to Canberra.

The 27-year-old Wajuk, Balardung, Kija and Yulparitja man, who began his walk last September to gather momentum for a treaty and protest the closure of remote Indigenous communities, arrived at Canberra’s Aboriginal Tent Embassy on Sunday afternoon, where he was greeted by several hundred supporters. Pryor urged Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, opposition leader Bill Shorten and governor general Peter Cosgrove to meet him in person, “sovereign to sovereign”
