Labor’s acknowledgment of the Hodgman Liberal Government’s record health funding in their economic direction statement is a welcome acknowledgment of their incorrect claims last week.

Despite months of claiming a looming winter “health crisis”, Labor have put forward absolutely nothing to address it and have offered zero solutions of their own.
None of their meagre health announcements, including their $20 million new health commission bureaucracy, will not start until mid-2018.
Labor have sidestepped the 2017-18 financial year which is when the Government’s actions are funded.
This makes a mockery of Labor’s “health crisis” claims and means they can no longer, with any credibility, criticise the Government’s real actions to address increasing demand on the health system.
