Sea Shepherd Australia is a non-profit conservation organisation whose mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd Australia uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced oceanic ecosystems, Sea Shepherd Australia works to ensure their survival for future generations.
Succcurs for Wildlife began in Hobart two years ago raising funds by selling succulents and cacti on Facebook. These funds were used to place campaign billboards on Metro Buses in Hobart advocating the prevention of roadkill in Tasmania; as well as information about reporting and caring for injured wildlife. Currently two Metro Buses feature Succcurs for Wildlife billboards.
So come along on the night of Friday 26th May for great food, music and company whilst supporting two animal/environmental organisations run by hard-working and dedicated volunteers.
