It is with sadness that the Tasmanian Government acknowledges the passing of acclaimed Tasmanian artist Max Angus AM, aged 102.

Best known for his watercolour depictions of the Tasmania landscape, Max’s work will be remembered for generations to come, as will his immense contribution to the Tasmanian arts community.

The Tasmanian Government passes on its sincere condolences to Max’s family and friends.
