Caitlin Shadbolt (above) is a young lady going places including Tasmania!
A frequent visitor here for gigs including the Campbell Town festival, she will be returning as one of the faces of the ‘Crazy Life’ tour. Caitlin has been performing most of her 20 years, although officially only for 2 years! She hasn’t had much time to try out other jobs but she tells me that two weeks in a juice bar was enough because her passion is music.
It seems Caitlin was destined for a country music career having been raised in the town of Nashville, Nashville, Australia that is! A goldmining town, formerly known as Gympie. Of course Caitlin has visited that other Nashville too.
After coming to the nation’s notice as a finalist on X-Factor Australia and with roles as creative youth ambassador at the Gympie muster ‘tacked on’ as she says to her music career Caitlin is a very busy girl and likes it that way.
