JLN Independent Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie has called on all former ADF members to make official submissions to the Senate Committee which is investigating the causes of Veteran suicides and their treatment by the Government’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Senator Lambie urges all Veterans and their family members who want to make an official submission to visit the following federal government website:

“Have you, your family or friends dealt with Australia’s Department of Veterans Affairs… and you haven’t been treated fairly?

Perhaps you’re a Health Professional and the way the Department of Veterans’ Affairs has treated former members of Australia’s Defence Force, has concerned you? Our Veterans’ suicide crisis may worry you?

Please make a submission to the special Senate Committee inquiry into the DVA. Do it either in writing, video or audio by the 7th of October. Tell your story to the Australian Parliament – and help fix the DVA.” said Senator Lambie.
