Horticulture with a New World Twist
An interactive workshop with three of our key speakers
Marcus Ragus, from Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens,(RTBG) is Manager of Interpretation, Learning and Community Engagement. Marcus has an extensive background in nursery, landscape & horticultural production and is a Bonsai specialist.
Grant Paterson, ecologist and environmental scientist, has Mackay Garden and Landscape
Nursery specialising in collector’s Palms, Pandanus, Cycads, Orchids and Bromeliads. Grant is president of Mackay Australia Plant Society.
Koji Miyazaki, horticulturist & landscape designer from Yokohama in Japan was a Graduate of TAFE Tasmania and now owns a shop in Japan specialising in Australian native plants. Koji also operates a range of special garden tours to Australia for various clients fascinated with Australian native plants.
