On next Saturday the 20th August. This unique Motor HillClimb event of over 40 enthusiasts will take on the challenging Pirates Bay Drive starting at the iconic Lufra Hotel toward the Eaglehawk Lookout.
With entries from a wide range of vehicles; Classic, Sports, Italian, Electric, road cars as well as vintage race cars. It is going to be a Motor Enthusiasts dream day.
This ‘Regularity’ event pits all comers to set their time, then traverse the course at least three times with the objective being to consistently match their nominated time. The winner of the event will be the driver who is closest to their target time.
Last year’s event was a dead tie between a Triumph Dolomite and a 2015 Subaru Forester, how’s that for a challenge. The year entries feature a; Lancia Fulvia sport, Lotus 11 replica, Fiat Abarth replica, Bentley Continental, Talbot 110, MGB, a 1930s Riley Sports, Electric BMW, Electric Subaru (local conversion), plus the usual cars from last year; Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Evo and more.
This is a public event with spectator points at both start and finish line, with a FREE Coach Service between these points throughout the day.
Join us from 9am, (official start 10am) 20th August for a great display of motoring prowess, car displays, and followed by the after party in the Starting Line Cafe beginning at 4pm featuring the musical prowess of Steve Miller and Andy How.
A massive thank you to our sponsors and key motor event organiser Club Motori Italia.
