Tasmanian Actress Lilly Dennis (above) spent her whole childhood in Hobart, Tasmania and is now making news in LA as a comedic actress. The 21 year old moved to LA three years ago to pursue her acting career.

Since then she has starred in numerous films such as We Need to Talk, Flirting and Hurting, The Replacement; which is currently making the international film festival circuit including Cannes. And is one of the lead characters on the famed Web Series Body Complications. Which has now been picked up for a second season, which starts shooting in winter this year.
The young star is currently working on the mini-series Foreign Love set to air in late 2016. The series revolves around a group of friends from all parts of the world living in LA, who are struggling to understand the ‘rules and regulations’ of relationships that apply in America.

On top of this the young actress is starring in the feature film, The Charlie Cure, a story about a young woman diagnosed with cancer and her discovery that medicine is not the only cure. The film is filled with uplifting moments of self-discovery and unconditional love. The Charlie Cure has created a lot of buzz internationally in Australia, Mexico as well as LA due to its unique story line and a universal approach to Cancer. Besides Dennis, the cast includes actors such as Anna Carlise (Undercover), Ximena Casillas (Skye) and Nicholas McDonald (The Surface).

In a recent interview Dennis spoke out about her new found success in LA, “I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish anything if it weren’t for my incredible support system. Honestly the secret is to keep yourself surrounded by positive people and always be looking for new ways to motivate yourself- especially as an actor. Acting has always been my passion and I am very lucky to call it my career.” Dennis is definitely taking LA by storm, recently she has made the local papers back in Hobart talking about her success, as the anticipation for the film and her future projects grow, so does the actress’s fan base.
