The transfer of North-East Aminya aged care from Presbyterian Care Tasmania to May Shaw Health Centre Inc. has occurred.
Chief Executive Officer of May Shaw, Julie Orr thanked staff, family and friends of Aminya as well as the broader north-east community for their patience during the transition period.
“While it is early days, I would like to thank all those involved to ensure the transfer of the facility has been as orderly and trouble free as possible,” Ms Orr said.
“I would particularly like to acknowledge the work of Presbyterian Care Tasmania and the Dorset Council in this process.”
Ms Orr reminded members of the community who were seeking respite services they could again approach Aminya for this service.
