Man charged in relation to disappearance of funds from a Victorian Parliamentary Party

MAN CHARGED IN RELATION TO DISAPPEARANCE OF FUNDS FROM A VICTORIAN PARLIAMENTARY PARTY

Fraud and Extortion Squad detectives have charged a man today in relation to the disappearance of funds from a Victorian Parliamentary Party.

The 42-year-old man from Ocean Grove has been charged with 44 counts of obtain financial advantage by deception totalling approximately 1.5 Million.

He is due to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court this afternoon.
