I am pleased to announce that Tim Grant has been appointed as the Valuer-General for Tasmania.

Mr Grant has acted in the position since November 2014, overseeing the 2014 Revaluation of nine councils during this period.

The role of Valuer-General is a key statutory position and Mr Grant brings extensive experience to it, with more than three decades working in all aspects of the discipline.

Based in Devonport, Mr Grant was formerly the Senior Valuer North-West and prior to that, gained valuable knowledge and experience as the Manager of Government Valuation Services.

Mr Grant’s experience and community development extends to multiple areas including; currently sitting on the Divisional Council Board of the Australian Property Institute Tasmania and as a past President of this Institute and a member of the National Education Board.
