Carpet Court is celebrating Tasmania’s heritage, culture and lifestyle through design – banding local interiors enthusiasts together in its new Love the Look project and e-book.
The Love the Look project is calling on Tasmania’s budding designers, aspiring style students and interiors addicts to share an original photo of an existing space or create their own perfect vignette* that best represents Tasmania. From the region’s historic streetscapes to its picturesque waterways, Carpet Court is looking for the images that best represent Tasmania’s unique style.
Showcasing the breadth of Aussie style and our diverse regions, the Love the Look e-book will bring together inspiring interior styling across the country as a reflection of our lifestyles, the local environment and history.
Carpet Court is offering the lucky winner an exclusive style session with Carpet Court ambassadors, and The Block superstars, Shelley Craft and Darren Palmer. The winner will also take home $2,500 cash, to fund their design dream.
Tim Bomford, owner of Moonah Modern Living Carpet Court in Hobart, says that Carpet Court understands the lifestyle of Tasmania and he can’t wait to see how it inspires interior design and style.
“Each region and town across the country has its own local flavour inspired by their surroundings and way of life. We are really excited to showcase Australia’s design diversity by celebrating our customers’ own eye for style,” he said.
The top 25 finalists will have their images showcased in Carpet Court’s Love the Look e-book, a digital publication, which will be available in early 2015 and receive a $100 cash prize.
People can enter by uploading an original photo that showcases Tasmania’s design style, with the decorator’s permission of course!
