It is with great sadness I acknowledge the passing of my mentor and friend, Doone Kennedy.
Doone Kennedy remained a woman of great wisdom and humouruntil her sudden passing.
She was an inspiration to so many of us. Doone was an amazing contributor to this City not only in her capacity as Lord Mayor and Alderman but also in her tireless work for charity and she was a trailer blazer for females in politics.
Background: Doone Kennedy had been supporting my campaign for Lord Mayor and was authorising my printwork.
