Labor Leader Bryan Green today again called for Premier Will Hodgman to correct the record regarding the timeline on when he was told of Searoad’s purchase of a new freight ship.

Mr Hodgman told Parliament on Tuesday that he was first notified on Monday.

However Infrastructure Minister Rene Hidding told the house yesterday he told the Premier on Saturday.

“I gave Mr Hodgman two opportunities this morning to correct the record but he did not take them,” Mr Green said.

“He has quite clearly misled the house and must fix this by correcting the record.

“If the Premier refuses to correct the record on this very simple matter, how can Tasmanians be assured that will tell the truth on anything else?”
