On Friday 21 March 2014,the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for Chloe’s Law is being launched on Pozible, at www.pozible.com/chloeslaw

The Chloe’s Law crowdfunding campaign is raising money to host a day of music, food and fun in Hobart Called ‘Little Sister’. Little Sister will be held on Saturday 18 October in the Hobart Wharf Precinct, and is a day is designed to raise awareness about this much talked about, but largely ignored issue.

Cassie Whitehill has been fighting for tough penalties against bullies since the loss of her sister Chloe in 2013, who tragically committed suicide after years of verbal, physical and online abuse.

Bullying is nothing new; children have been cruel to each other forever. However, we live in an age where society is highly driven by social media and online communication. Much of this communication is anonymous and therefore an enabler of faceless abuse. There is no measure of the effect that these attacks have on their victim

Little Sister hopes to bring together the entire Hobart community to the Hobart Wharf Precinct on October 18 to celebrate the legacy of 15 year old Chloe Fergusson.

“It is with your help and support we can produce the inaugural Little Sister festival. You can be part of something very special; where it all begins! In order to produce an amazing event like this and achieve its full potential, we need the support of as many people as possible. Major events require many costs and it is with your help we will be able to reach our goal and produce Little Sister,” said Ms Whitehill.

This festival will appeal to all ages and will help raise awareness and vital funds.

Little Sister will reach out to the entire Hobart community and beyond as a national platform against bullying on Saturday 18th October on the Hobart Wharf Precinct. The day will celebrate the legacy of Chloe Fergusson who took her life in 2013 after years of bullying. She was 15 years old. This festival will appeal to all ages and will help raise awareness and vital funds to support the Chloe’s Law foundation.
