The opinion polls are clearly showing that the Liberals will win majority government in Tasmania, Greens Leader Nick McKim said today.
“With Labor wracked by internal division, only the Greens have the integrity, strength, and unity to stand up to a hard right Abetz-Hodgman majority government,” Mr McKim said.
“We are ready for that responsibility.”
“Labor are a shambles. Tasmania can create Australian political history by choosing the only party with the courage and unity to stand up against the extremist Liberal majority government that will be elected this weekend.”
“Tasmania needs a party with strength and a truly alternative vision to stand up against the Liberals’ plans for logging in our World Heritage Area, fracking on our farmland, super trawlers in our oceans and extremist law and order policies.”
