• Steve, in Comments: I enjoyed reading this speech. Nice to read someone taking a positive view and he’s quite right. Many people saw what Tasmania could be and moved here at the start of the last decade. There was a pivotal point in Tasmania’s history around then and it tipped the wrong way. Pulp mill dreaming took over and the GST windfall was squandered. I suspect there’s another such moment approaching and I must confess to being worried.
