The Prime Ministers failure to announcement an election date is increasingly frustrating all of us and its time an Election date was called so that the Country can refocus and move forward.
How long do we have to stay on the merry go round of dates and this Prime Minister keeps the country at his ransom? This is about Australia and its future not about which political party or leader can see how far they can get ahead on the polls.
I like many Australians I have had enough of this election charade. It’s time that the Rudd machine gave this country some real direction. I urge Mr. Rudd to set an election date now!
The Country is on hold and so many people have had to change their lives on the election date speculation. As an example Local Government elections were to be held in October 2013 and were deferred due to the probable Federal election clash”
Local government elections are set in October every 2/4 years. This gives certainty for those in Local government elections and in particular the ratepayers have a realistic guide on an election date cycles. I firmly believe that all Elections should be set in concrete.
If elected I will push for Federal Elections dates to be set in rock hard legislation so that Federal elections must be held within a 7 day period every three years to the date.
This country needs certainty and its time that our leaders stopped procrastinating and Mr Rudd get of his pedestal and sets a date.
