Appointment of 2013 Chair of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia’s Tasmania Regional
Council
The Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (the Institute) has announced the appointment of Mr Brett
Spinks FCA as Chair of its Tasmania Regional Council.
Mr Spinks, currently Manager, Commercial Operations at Entura, an energy and water consulting company
in Hobart, will lead the Council’s initiatives in engaging with Tasmanian members and building relationships
with state government.
The Institute’s General Manager of Victoria and Tasmania, Duncan Pittard, says, “I’m delighted to welcome
Brett to the role of Chair. His vast industry experience will be invaluable as we work to support the needs of
local members in what will no doubt be another busy and exciting year.”
Over the past 15 years Mr Spinks has worked both locally and internationally across major organisations in
the accounting, banking and consulting sector.
Mr Spinks replaces 2012 and 2011 Chair of the Institute’s Tasmania Regional Council, Rod Whitehead.
