Today I am announcing my resignation effective immediately from the position of Chief Executive
Officer at Council on the Ageing Tasmania (COTA Tas).
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at COTA Tas. It has been rewarding to work for a higher profile
and recognition of the contribution older Tasmanians make to their communities.
The work of COTA will continue to grow in importance, as the ageing Tasmanian population
continues to expand.
I have accepted the offer of the role of CEO of Lifeline and am excited about this new challenge in
the next period of my professional life.
I wish to thank all staff members, the Board of Directors, Peer Educators, COTA Champions, the
Tas Policy Council and the wider Tasmanian community for their support during my time at the
organisation.
I would like to wish all those at COTA Tas the best for the future and I look forward to watching the
organisation continue to flourish.
