A salmon product with origins dating back to the Middle Ages, along with the combination of fine
Tasmanian Whisky and the best Tasmanian salmon, will lead the launch of a new premium Reserve
Selection range from Huon Aquaculture today.
The launch also sees Huon Aquaculture venture into online ordering as it seeks to make its premium
products, including whisky and honey cured salmon, available to consumers around the globe.
Co-founder of the Tasmanian family-run Huon, Frances Bender, said the desire to continue to
provide the very best produce to salmon lovers around the world fuelled the creation of the new
Reserve Selection range.
“It is a fantastic meeting of the old and the new, with the majority of these premium products made
by hand to order, but delivered to the world via our online shop and ordering system,” said Mrs
Bender.
“The entire Reserve Selection team has been hand picked from within our 400 strong employee
group and have been charged with ensuring that the products meet our promise of excellence.
“I feel very proud when I look back on how far we have come in our endeavour to bring the finest
produce to consumers.”
The Reserve Selection will be available for online order and at select outlets across Australia.
