May I bring to a greater number of peoples’ attention a small article In the 10.8.11 Mercury reporting the following:
“New Hospital plans, Public comments is invited on draft legislation to set up three new local hospital networks, which will be called Tasmanian Health Organizations. Health Minister Michelle O’Byrne said the Department of Health and Human Services would hold a public information session on August 17 from 3 – 4:30 at the Royal Hobart Hospital: Go to dhhs.tas.gov.au/healthreform for information”
I was under the impression that the Tasmanian Government is a tad short on funds, how come they can find extra taxpayer monies to fund three new departments, no doubt each with their own Directors, GM’s admin staff plus perks and similar the queue of “friends” must be endless. This looks like it could end up just like the unnecessary triplicate of water-sewerage board?
