TT has received an email from the solicitor for Allison Ritchie demanding TT remove comments on the website pertinent to Ms Ritchie and make an apology saying that TT accepts some of the comments made are not true and that they are not endorsed by the editor.
We have been given 12 hours to comply.
If TT does not comply we may face the costs, inconvenience and possible risk of an adverse legal finding.
In the interim will all persons who post be aware that assertions of fact should be demonstrable.
TT is not a rumour mill for gossip.
Also any imputation of impropriety or fraud should be based on demonstrable fact.
