Break O’Day Regional Arts Committee will be hosting Jazz in the Park on Sunday 19th December 2010 between mid day and 3pm at the Musical Walkway and Rotunda at Wombat Walk, St Marys. You can access the site either from Frank Street or from the Esk Highway walking past the library and over the bridge.
We invite you and your family and friends to pack a picnic and a rug and come join what we hope will be a relaxing final event for the regional arts committee for 2010. Don Ives and his jazz band will be providing the music, you may have heard them in the last few months at the St Marys Markets! There may be a suprise visit by St Marys school band, we are awaiting confirmation on this! A gold coin donation will be a voluntary contribution to the Break O’Day Regional Arts coffers and will be use to make a donation towards the bands travelling costs to provide the concert to the community. We are so fortunate to have these wonderful musicians who are willing to donate their time and music skills to entertain our community and I encourage all to come along and support this relaxing outdoor music event. Make sure you pack some drinks, sun hats and some sunscreen for the afternoon and hopefully we can encourage the sun to St Marys for the day!!
