PREMIER David Bartlett today defended the process which resulted in a $2 million loan to a collapsed Hobart software firm.
“Yes I am satisfied that that the process was robust and I am satisfied that a state Labor Government will always invest in innovation and will create jobs for the future,” he said.
Mr Bartlett said the Tasmanian Development Board recommended to the Government last year to loan the money to Etech under the Tasmanian
Industry Support Scheme.
