From 17-21 October, nearly 1,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities will converge on Launceston for the 2022 National Games. Athletes will be competing in a range of different sports across the region.
Special Olympics Australia is now looking for a group of wonderful volunteers (called Game Changers) to support this incredible event! As a Game Changer, you can take on a range of diverse roles in the lead-up to and during the National Games and ultimately help improve the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
As a Game Changer you will receive:
– Uniform including t-shirt and cap
– Tote bag with Launceston 2022 souvenirs
– to Opening Ceremony
– Training and certification for interacting with PWID
By becoming a Game Changer, you’re helping improve the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities and showing the world that Special Olympics is more than sport!
